Graduate Careers Advice Programme (Ref: L1)

Who is it for:

Graduates and undergraduates wanting one to one graduate careers advice to decide what to do re careers, taking a Masters degree, changing course, dropping out of study, etc.

This graduate careers advice programme is well suited to mature graduates / undergraduates, part-time students and career changers (whose decisions what to do re career choices and career advancement are often particularly challenging).

Description:

You work one to one with your graduate careers advice coach to explore what to do re career choices and any other work-related life goals (eg self-employment, travel, work-life balance, etc).  This conversation is informal, friendly and unhurried — but always focused!

You also complete a series of personality, abilities and career interests questionnaires (these provide the psychometric data informing your graduate careers advice).

The psychometric data helps graduates' "what to do" career decisions by giving them clear, detailed, objective pictures of themselves and of their work-related strengths, preferred workplace roles, thinking styles, etc.  This data also provides direct comparisons of the enthusiasm they feel and of their potential for each of the careers open to them, making graduates' choices of what to do about career much better and easier.

Graduates' careers advice reports are individually prepared and written (not computer-generated).  These reports combine the psychometric and non-psychometric sources of graduates' careers advice into a single, truly"user friendly" narrative to guide graduates' career choices.

The Graduate Careers Advice Programme includes free job hunting advice sheets (networking skills, how to write a CV, interview techniques, etc) as well as a free, unlimited Helpline service.

Further support (eg one to one interview coaching and CV writing services) is available as a "top-up" to the Graduate Careers Advice Programme.
